Our story

Pete’s is all about fresh food, community and family. We opened our doors in 2019 after re-falling in love with the St. Pete community. Following a 10 year stint in NYC, husband and wife Steven and Sara Peterman found the perfect location for our dream store in Historic Uptown, just around the corner from where Sara grew up. Our friend Erica joined the team right away, back when we had a single folding chair and papered windows in our space. She, alongside a talented baking staff helped develop Pete’s into the community staple that it is today. We quickly grew out of our first location and opened our new, bigger shop in the Grand Central District.

We now have locations in St. Pete and Ybor City, and we have added some babies to our Pete’s family too. We strive to make our spaces as family-friendly and welcoming as possible. We hope to see you soon!
